editing a collaboration can get unwieldily. in the moment it is like a car crash but the editing is not to clean the mess. the mess is good and needs to be elevated. some corners need a highlight color. some lines need a quick check up from a doctor.

food always comes in, because it is easy / something I think about. or, because often we are writing in bars, cafes, diners. in between dirty plates, some grease stains on the page.

there is no work for it. arranging ourselves slightly sloped so the words just move the path of least resistance. it helps to have smooth pen, it helps for everyone to write neatly, it helps to be having a good conversation at the same time. these have not been done in silence.

welcome to different. often to realize what initially seems unconnected or with no transitions settles over night, over the next day, or week. often the words are just fine but the eyes need to look at something else for awhile.

always music in the background and a wet spot on the table. the first one might be bad, then do another, and another, and another, maybe that is enough for now.
