A poet needs different tools of dislodging words to re-align them. Look at it as a carving. where the wood has been smoothed down to hold the specific items already, then there is no other place for those items to be held, they are secured in the wood that has been carved for their exact shape.

So to for poets, as we get used to certain arrangements, certain way of looking that makes us repeat certain approaches to the topic, certain ways of making the poem and then repeated over and over. It is why so many poets begin investigation into automation, into chance, into derivative practices, these are the ways out of our own shell shocked heads.
